• Got nominated as 'Most Likely to Be Badass For Life' on MyFace. This. I. Rike. [grin]

On The Elections

• Apparently they are happening soon o_O I do not think I can survive another term of ... it.

• Never got around to registering despite all my vocal and public condemnation of all the irresponsible bastards who do not vote. I'm not quite sure where to hide my face.
• 
  
• Trying to make it up by registering to become a POLLING AGENT. Apparently what you do as a POLLING AGENT is that you stop people as they are about to make hideously erroneous decisions (e.g. Voting for Barisan) and you advise them to do otherwise. If they refuse, you are allowed to beat them with a large stick. This is what the recruitment email has said. I quite fancy it and think it will be a very productive job that makes a difference. Also I can put to good use this large branch that has fallen in my garden.

• Apparently Fong Po Kuan, the Feisty Cili Padi DAP person is not standing for elections for very mysterious reasons. Whatever, the reasons are, I hope she puts it aside for now when DAP really needs a united front. :| Otherwise, we always have room for more POLLING AGENTS

• I think that I shall add POLLING AGENT to my CV, which will instantly make me a hundred times more attractive to employers as they will understand what sort of rigorous standards I have to meet to become a POLLING AGENT... not everyone can you know...

• Had an encounter with MoF2 Tan Sri Nor . Mr Delusional was going on about how it was such a great time to have the elections because the 'feel-good' factor is really there, because the economy is buoyant and inflation is only 0.0001% . I wanted to launch myself at his weedy little throat, shake his rat head and scream," WHAT - FUCKING - COUNTRY ARE - YOU - LIVING - IN?" but didn't on account of the fact that I would have probably lost my job. Also had to suppress the deep urge to ask him what he was doing the help his 'people' (i.e. the Hindraf movement) just to annoy the shit out of him on account of how he likes to think he's Melayu instead.
