My boss has returned from overseas, and somehow I have a sneaky feeling that he knows I have been doing Absolutely Nothing since I returned.
Also he said, "I know you have alot on your plate now"
But he said it in a very smarmy way. And I gave him a look like Bambi being caught in headlights. I really have to cover my tracks better.

i tink you are reading too much into his "I know you got a lot on your plate now". Maybe he meant it literally.
Did the encounter happen somewhere at a buffet lunch or something like that?
If you were maybe what he really wanted to say was:
"I know you got a lot on your plate now..why don't you give me some of that sate since they all run out at the buffet table since some xsk (go figure) fella took all of them and decided to resell it back at a ridiculous price"
