SELAMAT DATANG KE SINGAPURA
And so I'm here in Singapore.
Now for all you loyal readers out there (ok, the one loyal reader), last time we checked, I was in Kuala Lumpur, which a fair bit away from Singapore (3+ hrs driving time, if your parents are sleeping in the car, and you don't get caught by the infamous polis trafik. 5 hrs if your parents are awake).
Couple of things have happened since.
1. I am in Singapore.
2. I have found a room (in Singapore).
3. I am no longer an intern, but a student (again).
It was sort of like this snake incident I had in Bangkok. Oh, btw
4. I went to Bangkok (it was great).
So we were in the Floating Market (Danoem Saduek), and we (we being my touristy friends and I) were generally minding our own business, being regular touristy people, pointing at random things, taking pictures etc, eating food of dubious hygiene standards, and then we saw a dude. So we were floating closer, and then we saw the dude, had a rather large snake next to him (python, in case anyone is wondering). So before anything really registered in our heads, our boat lady pulled up beside the dude, he offered his hand. Naturally we took his hand because, you know, when a dodgy looking stranger with a snake offers you his hand, you take it... durh. Two seconds later, Mr. Python was around our necks and we were grinning nervously at the camera wondering whether Mr. Python had been fed lately.
Long story short. Coming to Singapore was a bit like that. I saw it coming a mile away, but it didn't really register, and suddenly Mr. Python is around my neck and I'm wondering what in the WoRLd have I gotten myself into (again).
Ok bye.
